Erika1Get ready to Rock the ’Dale! The Scarsdale Business Alliance invites the community to come together on Sunday, September 20th for Rock the ’Dale, a special Destination Scarsdale event bringing music, local businesses, family fun, food and community spirit to the heart of Scarsdale Village.

Rock the ’Dale will transform the Village into a lively Sunday destination with live music and entertainment, interactive activities and activations from local businesses and community organizations, great food, shopping and plenty of fun for all ages. It’s a chance to spend the morning downtown, discover and support local businesses, connect with neighbors and enjoy everything that makes Scarsdale such a special community.

Rock the ’Dale is part of the Scarsdale Business Alliance’s Destination Scarsdale series, created to bring residents together while showcasing the businesses and organizations that make our community thrive. Bring the whole family, invite your friends and come shop, eat, play and Rock the ’Dale!

Bicycle Sunday

2026 Bicycle Sundays! Since 1974, Westchester County residents have been enjoying the popular Bicycle Sundays program. It opens a 6.5-mile stretch of the historic Bronx River Parkway to bicyclists, skaters, joggers, and walkers on a series of Sundays throughout the warmer weather months each year. Bicycle Sundays is one of Westchester’s longest-running and popular recreational programs.

Event Information
The series runs on the following dates and times:

Sept. 13, 20 and 27 (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
Oct. 4 (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)

Bicycle Sundays is presented by Westchester County Parks and sponsored by Westchester Parks Foundation and its partners, through generous donations from co-presenting sponsors NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester and Con Edison, with Danny’s Cycles as the official Bicycle Sponsor.

During Bicycle Sundays, the parkway is open exclusively to non-motorized bicyclists, scooters and in-line skaters, e-bike class 1 only, plus walkers and joggers. Many points of entry and exit are along the way. from Exit 22 at the Westchester County Center to Exit 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers. The round-trip distance is 13 miles. The road is closed to automobiles in that stretch of parkway. Admission is free and free parking will be available in the East Lot at the Westchester County Center.

Film Screening & Director Q&A - Uncorked Potential with Jack Kauffman

Uncorked Potential Documentary ScreeningJoin documentarian Jack Kauffman for a screening of Uncorked Potential: The Wild Wines of Chile showcasing the food, culture, and wineries of regions throughout Chile. With a blend of breathtaking landscapes, a fascinating look inside the winemaking process, and interviews with the people who craft it, Uncorked Potential is an engaging exploration of wine for both the experienced sommelier and someone just learning viticulture and the wines of the world. There will be time for questions and answers at the end.

Uncorked Potential is a travel and wine docu-series exploring extraordinary winemaking regions around the world and is available for streaming via PBS. The previous episode featured wines from the Finger Lakes region in New York.

Light refreshments, including wines specifically selected from Chilean vineyards, will be served after the screening.

About the presenter

Jack Kauffman is an award-winning filmmaker, a certified sommelier, and an avid traveler. He has worked on vineyards in Andalucía, Spain and Colchagua Valley, Chile as well as oversaw a wine bar in Charleston, SC as the wine director and worked as a specialist at Sotheby's auction house in the wine department. Jack holds the WSET Level 3 rank with Merit, developed and ran the east coast business of a Napa Valley winery, studied at the IAU wine program in Aix-en-Provence, France, and graduated with distinction from Sonoma State University’s Wine Business course. When not traveling, he lives in Connecticut.
