Carnival Time

Despite changeable skies on Saturday May 12, all five elementary schools held their carnivals with a combination of indoor and outdoor activities. Each school had individually themed events with stuffed foxes in evidence at Fox Meadow, a train ride and a pony ride at Edgewood as well as the annual talent show at Greenacres and karaoke at Heathcote and Quaker Ridge. Scarsdale firefighters visited each carnival to demonstrate how to use the fire hose, safety techniques and to offer up the fire truck for photo opps.

Scarsdale High School Senior Becky Schwartz toured all five and sent in these lovely photos of the children of Scarsdale having a blast at their carnivals.
