Developer to Clear 427 Trees for 10-Home Development in Greenburgh

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner has advised the community that Toll Brothers will build 11 new single family homes on 10.18 acres at the intersection of Old Sprain Road and Underhill Road. According to Feiner, the application for the subdivision was approved on August 5, 2010 along with a steep slope permit and a permit to remove 427 trees. The builder will need to replant 141 new trees and 196 shrubs to replace them. Tree removal will begin on February 2nd.
