Meet the Architects

KG&D Architects will present and discuss the Scarsdale School District facilities plan and Scarsdale High School master plan at a community meeting on Tuesday morning April 8 at 9:30 am in the Little Theatre at Scarsdale High School. The event is sponsored by the Scarsdale PT Council and the entire community is invited to learn what's happening, ask questions and engage in the process.

Diane Greenwald, who is a member of the facilities steering committee encourages everyone to attend. She said, "I am very impressed with this architecture firm -- and with the open process that the School Board has employed empowering educational stakeholders to participate, as well as asking for input by the community at every step of the way. I worked in this industry so I have some experience. Their senior folks, who are at every meeting, are extremely likable as well as truly knowledgeable about the unique needs of educational facilities. I feel we are in balanced, thoughtful hands. Best I can tell, they are quite mindful of cost, creating plans I think will take budget, flexibility and long-term planning carefully into consideration."
