Wedding Bells: Michael Jureller and Emily Weingart

Dr. Michael Jureller and Emily Weingart were married at Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton, CT on Saturday night October 29, 2022. The ceremony was performed by Rabbi Tom Weiner of Congregation Kol Ami.

Emily, a graduate of Boston University, is the daughter of Jeff and Naomi Weingart of Westport CT. She is a Physician’s Assistant now working at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Michael Jureller, the son of Susan and John Jureller graduated from Scarsdale High School (2007), Cornell University and the Sackler School of Medicine. Michael is now a surgeon at NYU Langone Surgery Associates.

The two met at Montefiore Hospital, treating a patient in the emergency room when she was a Physician’s Assistant and he was doing his surgical residency. They now live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and will honeymoon in the Galapagos Islands and Chile.

Coincidentally, their mothers went to Junior High School together in the Rockaways... but didn't know each other at the time.
