Club Monaco Opens a Women’s Only Boutique in Westchester

Club Monaco is pleased to announce the reopening of its Westchester Mall location, now a women’s only boutique carrying the complete fall collection. The brand will celebrate the opening on September 25th at the new store with an event to benefit local nonprofit GoPINK.

The new store design is exclusive to the Westchester location and is a mix of white washed wood, shades of white and grey walls, and dramatic long drapes. James Mills, V.P. of Store Design said the design of the store was inspired by his travels around the globe; purchasing rugs in Paris, furniture in London, lighting in Los Angeles and artwork in New York all resulting in an elegant mix.

The store opened with the complete women’s September collection as well as exclusive vintage jewelry and apparel selected for the Westchester customer.

This collection includes deep hues of purple and blue, elegant prints, effortless layering, and beautifully draped skirts. The silhouette is shortened, the shoulders are emphasized, and the overall styling point of view is reminiscent of strong femininity from the 90s. Accessories are influenced by 90s costume jewelry and modern art, and include distressed leather messengers, crossbody bags, fringed accents and embellished scarves.

The brand has partnered with www.BeautifulStranger.TV , an online street style site that goes in search of real people with unmistakable style to find out what they are using, loving, and wearing. They then provide a link to every product and service that the Beautiful Stranger mentions. One guest will be chosen to receive a $1,000 shopping spree to Club Monaco and an iPod, courtesy of DJ Belle de Jour of Glam.com.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 25th from 10 am - 4 pm. Proceeds will benefit GoPINK, the Junior Committee for Women at Risk. GoPink was founded by two Westchester high school students in 2009. Their mission is to educate teens about breast cancer research and the impact of fundraising.
