The community is invited to a special event at Life, The Place to Be in Ardsley to support Luke Moretti and others who have been affected by spinal cord injuries. Last April Scarsdale High School alumni Luke Moretti was injured in a diving accident during his freshman year at Vanderbilt University and suffered severe life-altering spinal cord injuries. He fractured his C5 vertebra, and is presently paralyzed from the chest down. Despite this catastrophic injury, Luke’s boundless spirit, his positive outlook, and his determination to resume his life’s passions and goals are an inspiration to everyone he meets.
Following the accident, parents Michael and Anne Moretti created The Luke Moretti Fund, a not-for-profit fund within the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation to help raise public awareness, fund research, and directly assist the huge community of people whose lives have been affected by spinal cord injuries.
On Wednesday, October 24th, 2012 at 7:30 PM, the Luke Moretti Fund is hosting a special evening, encompassing a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by a two-hour concert, featuring The Cast of Beatlemania at Life, The Place to Be in Ardsley. Proceeds will support The Luke Moretti Fund, to benefit the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation for Spinal Cord Research.
Here is an opportunity to experience a nostalgic evening of music while supporting an important cause. Admission for the evening is $125.00 per person and includes a cocktail reception, light hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, a raffle, and a musically charged event featuring The Cast of Beatlemania.
The cast Of Beatlemania will recreate the sights, sounds and magic of The Beatles, live on stage. With three different costumes changes, coinciding with the changing music and times, theirs is the first, original and only complete representation of the The Beatles. The cast includes performers who starred in the Broadway production and have performed throughout the country and the world. The concert is produced by Baumer Ventures Inc.
