Tickets Now on Sale for the Gourmet Galaxy

The seventeenth annual Gourmet Galaxy will be held on Wednesday May 5 at the Westchester Country Club, featuring a wonderful assortment of culinary delights from some new restaurants as well as many returning participants. Local favorites, Eastchester Fish Gourmet and Meritage are back this year along with White Plain’s Niko’s Greek Taverna, An American Bistro of Tuckahoe and Anna Maria’s Restaurant from Larchmont. Newcomers to the Galaxy this year include Caffe Azzurri, the new Hartsdale gem on Central Avenue, Angelina’s of Tuckahoe, New Rochelle’s Don Coqui, Emma’s Ale House of White Plains, Rue Des Crepes of Harrison, Il Castello and Le Provencal from Mamaroneck and the always delicious Le Panetiere from Rye.
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served beginning at 6:30 pm and at 8 pm when the doors to the ballroom open, guests will be treated to an array of specialties from all of these wonderful participating area restaurants.
Delectable desserts will also be provided by Lulu Cake Boutique, La Renaissance, Seth Greenberg Desserts and Odyssey Chocolates. The Galaxy silent auction which will begin at 6:30 pm will include a variety of gift certificates from participating and other restaurants along with many other entertainment and specialty items. Attendees will also be able to participate in a 50/50 Raffle during the course of the evening.
Wine for the evening will once again be graciously provided by Frederick Wildman and Sons, Ltd. courtesy of the Cacciato family.
This event is Scarsdale-Edgemont Family Counseling Service’s principal annual fundraiser. SFCS has been serving the communities of Scarsdale and Edgemont for almost 90 years. At this year’s event, SFCS will honor Dr. Steve Frantz with the Open Door Award for community service.
