Launchers Win Back-to-Back Adult Softball Titles

The Launchers - 2026 Scarsdale Adult Softball ChampionsOn Thursday, August 13, the reigning champion Launchers faced the teenage Big Batters in the Scarsdale Recreation Adult Softball finals.

The Big Batters won the first game 11-5, but instead of calling a playoff tie for the title as many of the young players on the team are heading off to college soon, the decision was made to play a tie-breaker. The veteran Launchers made it back-to-back titles with a 12-7 victory, aided by a pair of home runs and strong defense. The regular season pennant was won by Claire Leone Real Estate.
