Greenburgh Police Offer Reward for Information About Hit and Run Driver

Police are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a hit and run driver who may have killed a Greenburgh man in the early morning hours of Tuesday June 9. Police are offering $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who hit Darryl Chung, age 23 on South Road in Greenburgh. His body was discovered in front of 57 South Road at 6 am on Tuesday June 9th. It is not clear when he was hit.
At 6 am on June 9, 2015 the Greenburgh police department received a 911 call from a passing motorist of a man down on South Road. Patrol units responded to the area and discovered Darryl Chung on the grassy area in front of 57 South Road. EMS units pronounced Mr. Chung deceased at the scene. Police are searching the area for a vehicle with possible front-end damage.
