Spelling Bee Postponed, Schools Closed

An unexpected snowstorm that began before dawn of Friday February 5 stopped Scarsdale in its tracks. An early email from the school said there would be a 2-hour delay. Later, a second email arrived announcing that school would be closed all day.

The Scarsdale Spelling Bee, scheduled for Friday night February 5 in the high school auditorium has also been postponed since the school is closed. The snow date is Friday night February 26 at 7:30 pm.
