Here are some images of life in Scarsdale last week: We found these two adorable SHS seniors dressed in costume in Scarsdale Village last week and they explained that it was "Rent a Senior Day." Underclassmen rented out members of the senior class and put them into service, driving, buying food and instructing them to dress in silly garb. Julia Gerla and Sara Arbelaez looked to be having as much fun as the students they were serving.
Also in town, a crowd had gathered at Mixology, a new store for teens and their moms at 45 Spencer Place. The store, which is the sixth to open is stocked with shorts, dresses, silky shorts, denim, accessories and everything Scarsdale gals need for their summer wardrobes.
Driving down Fox Meadow Road we found a fire truck ejecting a huge plume of water. Was there a fire? No – firefighters were just testing their equipment.
Last, reader Bud Kroll spotted these two adorable children waiting for the train to come into Scarsdale station and sent it to us to share with you.
