Join documentarian Jack Kauffman for a screening of Uncorked Potential: The Wild Wines of Chile showcasing the food, culture, and wineries of regions throughout Chile. With a blend of breathtaking landscapes, a fascinating look inside the winemaking process, and interviews with the people who craft it, Uncorked Potential is an engaging exploration of wine for both the experienced sommelier and someone just learning viticulture and the wines of the world. There will be time for questions and answers at the end.
Uncorked Potential is a travel and wine docu-series exploring extraordinary winemaking regions around the world and is available for streaming via PBS. The previous episode featured wines from the Finger Lakes region in New York.
Light refreshments, including wines specifically selected from Chilean vineyards, will be served after the screening.

About the presenter
Jack Kauffman is an award-winning filmmaker, a certified sommelier, and an avid traveler. He has worked on vineyards in Andalucía, Spain and Colchagua Valley, Chile as well as oversaw a wine bar in Charleston, SC as the wine director and worked as a specialist at Sotheby's auction house in the wine department. Jack holds the WSET Level 3 rank with Merit, developed and ran the east coast business of a Napa Valley winery, studied at the IAU wine program in Aix-en-Provence, France, and graduated with distinction from Sonoma State University’s Wine Business course. When not traveling, he lives in Connecticut.
