Organizers, Marin Weinberg, Remy Weinberg, Ana Bluth, and Sophia Polak.Westchester Reform Temple (WRT) is proud to announce the resounding success of the 2nd Annual WRT Flea, which raised over $18,000 in support of Unistream, an organization empowering youth in Israel's geographic and socioeconomic periphery to unlock their potential through professional and entrepreneurial skills training.
The WRT Flea drew an enthusiastic crowd of shoppers, donors, and volunteers. Building on the momentum of its inaugural year, the second annual event exceeded all expectations. The funds raised will all go directly toward Unistream's work providing young people of all religions with entrepreneurial tools to turn their dreams into business plans — expanding their horizons, drawing inspiration from diverse spheres of innovation, and equipping them to create new solutions and effect meaningful change in the world. Commenting from Israel, a representative from Unitstream said, “Thank you all so much, this means so much and [is] so helpful in such a year and always. Especially after the war, it gives us much strength to have amazing women like you supporting our work and teens.”
The success of the WRT Flea would not have been possible without the extraordinary dedication of the volunteer organizers who gave their time, creativity, and energy to make the event a reality. WRT extends its deepest gratitude to Marin and Remy Weinberg, Ana Bluth, and Sophia Polak, whose tireless leadership and commitment to the WRT community were indispensable, as well as Sharon Stiefel, Director of Social Impact and Community Engagement.
