The Rotary 's EPIC Day of Service (Everyone Participates In Communities) is a grassroots initiative where local Rotary members and community volunteers unite for a monumental, single-day event of giving back with hands-on community focused projects deeply rooted in Rotary's core guiding principle " Service Above Self."
This past Sunday the Rotary Club of Scarsdale joined their host, the Bronxville Rotary Club to work with the Bronx River Parkway Conservatory with options to participate in planting 75 trees, weed the pollinator Garden and vine cutting along the Bronx River Pathway in an area referred to as the Bronx River Park.
While the projects are hyper-local, they are part of a massive, synchronized global movement that takes place annually, primarily during the spring.
