Bronxville is mourning the death of a police sergeant and his family as a result of a murder suicide. Clarkstown Police report that just after midnight on December 30, Sergeant Watson Morgan (age 49) from the Bronxville Police Department, his wife Ornela Morgan (age 43) and their two boys ages 10 and 12 were found dead in their home in New City.
The New City Police discovered their bodies when Morgan failed to show up for his shift at the Bronxville Police earlier that evening.
Police officials said Watson Morgan, a sergeant with the Bronxville Police Department, fatally shot his wife, Ornela Morgan, 43, and their sons before taking his own life. All four had gunshot wounds, police said. A handgun was recovered at the scene.
