Backyard Sports to Host Weekend Pick-Up Soccer Games

Backyard Sports is pleased to once again sponsor a weekend pick up soccer game to offer boys and girls the opportunity to play competitive soccer with both travel and recreational players from across the area. The program will begin on Sunday January 10th and will now include 4th through 10th graders.

Participants will organize their own teams and play uninterrupted games under the watchful eye of the Backyard Sports coaching staff. The program will take place at the main gym at SUNY Purchase from 12-1:30 pm on the following dates:

Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31
Feb. 7, 21, 28
March 7, 14, 21
April 4, 11

In lieu of a registration fee, generous donations of any amount will be accepted for Amazing Afternoons, Inc, a non profit organization dedicated to providing after school enrichment and athletic activities to children at the Edward Williams School in Mt. Vernon.
