scarsdale-police-car200Pranksters: A Boulevard resident called police on the morning of 7/22 to say that he found a street sign placed on top of his Pontiac Grand Prix. The crosswalk sign caused a long scratch on the hood of the car. He was advised about the sign by a neighbor who said she heard kids outside the previous night. Police returned the sign to the corner of Boulevard and Bell Roads. Later that morning, a Carman Road woman said they she found a stop sign resting against her neighbor’s front door. The sign belonged at the intersection of Carman and Nelson Roads and was returned there.

Bike Thief: On 7/21 on Hazelton Drive a 16-year-old boy interrupted a bicycle theft from his garage on the night of 7/21. The boy saw a man walking out of the garage with his bike and confronted him. The man said, “I’m just looking at your bike.” The boy told the man to leave and the intruder responded, “I like your house, I’ll be back," and also said, “Don’t bring a knife to a gun fight.” The man then walked away. Police canvassed the area but were unable to find the man.

Identity Theft: On 7/16, a Hampton Road man came to police headquarters after he received a notice of a traffic violation from the Garden State Parkway Authority for a car registered to his name that he did not own. The car was bearing license plates that were registered to him. He was advised to contact the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Car Rental Trouble: The Scarsdale Shell station reported that Abbas Beidas of Yonkers had used a rented Subaru Legacy since May 25th and failed to return it. Avis was unable to contact Beidas so police got in touch with him and he promised to return the car. However, shortly thereafter he had a friend call to say that the Beidas was out of the country and could not return the car. Consequently the car was declared stolen – and it was also found that Beidas had a suspended license. Later that evening, the car was returned.

On 7/16, an employee of the Scarsdale Shell station on Scarsdale Avenue called to complain that he was threatened by a man who was complaining about the price of an Avis Car Rental on behalf of a friend. He told the employee, “I will see you later.” He did not give his name. When police called the woman who had rented the car said she was handling the dispute through American Express and said there would be no violence.

A Crawford Lane woman reported that her 26-year-old daughter had taken the mother’s 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser without permission on the night of 7/21. The girl had just had a heated argument with her boyfriend so her mother was concerned.

Fishing: A man was found fishing in the Duck Pond on Duck Pond road on the afternoon of 7/17. It turns out he was a construction worker at the new house being built there. Though he had a license to fish in Connecticut, police told him that he needed a New York State license to fish here.

Anonymous Calls: A Fenimore Road woman reported receiving nine anonymous phone calls between 10:28 and 10:48 pm on 7/17. When the woman picked up the phone, the caller did not speak. The woman was fearful so she contacted the police.

Chemical Spill: A Crossway Road man called police on the afternoon of 7/18 when ORKIN came to treat termites at his home and dropped the chemical, Phantom Basf, all over the floor of his basement. Police arrived and found that ORKIN had been applying 40 gallons of termite control to the lawn and some of the insecticide leaked into the basement. The Fire Department arrived and notified the Health Department to supervise the clean-up.

Lean-to: The Village Building Department called police on 7/19 when they found a lean-to structure in the woods at Hyatt Field on Boulevard. They were concerned that a homeless person could have set up the structure. Police found no evidence of “long-term habitation” and asked the Highway Department to remove the structure.

Brekaing the Bank: Police went to a Brittany Road home on the morning of 7/20 when the babysitter reported she heard a loud sound. They found that a porcelain piggy bank had been accidentally knocked off a dresser and shattered on the floor.

Fights: A man doing work at a house on Normandy Lane called police on July 18 when a neighbor got into a dispute and grabbed his arm. The argument had stopped by the time police arrived.

Police went to Lulu’s Bakery on Garth Road on the morning of 7/20 to mediate a dispute that was possibly getting violent. They found the manager arguing with an employee who had quit the previous day about recipes and the use of an iPad. Later that day, the manager said he had worked out the disagreement.

Nasty Patient: Police were called to the Scarsdale Medical Center on the afternoon of 7/20 when an upset patient became physical with one of the doctors. The man was unhappy with how the doctor conducted himself when the patient requested his lab results.

Locked Out: A Gorham Road woman and her baby were locked out of the house on the evening of July 21. The Fire Department helped them get into the house.

On the morning of 7/17 police got a complaint that cars were parked on both sides of the street on Leatherstocking Lane creating a traffic hazard. The Recreation Department made an announcement to ask people to move their cars, and afterwards gave summons to the cars still parked in violation of the signs.


 

ctown1On a sultry Sunday afternoon around 4:30 pm on July 15, employees and shoppers at DeCicco's in Scarsdale Village jumped when they heard a loud bang and the sound of breaking glass. A witness reported that she was standing near the front cash registers and thought a bomb had hit the building. Suddenly she smelled vinegar and realized that a car had driven into DeCicco’s front plate glass window on Spencer Place. The nose of the car entered the store upsetting shelves of vinegar and salad dressing.

After penetrating the store, the car rolled back on the sidewalk.

Store employees scrambled to see what had happened and found that a 64-year-old woman had driven a 2004 Toyota ctown2up onto the sidewalk between two parking meters. Beatrice Kahn, a 97-year-old of Garth Road, was a passenger in the car. Fortunately no one was on the sidewalk at the time. Police and firefighters arrived to assess the damage and secure the area. Though there was significant damage to the building it appeared stable so the area was taped off, and the glass and broken bottles were swept up.

The elderly woman was upset and asked to be taken to the hospital so an ambulance was called. The damaged car was towed away. On Monday morning, the area remained taped off and only one door of the store was operating.

Deer struck twice: An 80-year-old Carman Road man backed his car out of his driveway at 3 pm on July 10th, traveled across the street, over the curbstone and onto the lawn of another home -- and then collided with a 2005 Honda that was parked there. The man said “he was unable to step on the brake” before hitting the other car.

A woman from Inwood was driving south on Secor Road at 11:45 pm on July 10th when her 2006 Jeep struck a deer. After the deer was hit, it ran into the northbound lane of Secor Road where it was struck again by a White Plains man driving a 2007 mini cooper. There were no injuries to the people involved.

Burglary on Rock Creek Lane: At 5:30 pm on July 12 a Rock Creek Lane man reported a burglary at his home. The house was only unoccupied for a short time between 4:40 and 5:15 pm, but that was enough to permit thieves to enter the house through an unlocked window in the family room. Several bedrooms were ransacked and much was stolen including:

  • 1 50-inch flat panel TV
  • Two laptop computers
  • More than $10,000 in jewelry

The thieves found the keys to a 2001 Toyota Camry in an upstairs closet and stole the car as well.

Arrest: Jonathan Faison, age 25 of Teaneck New Jersey, surrendered to Scarsdale Police on July 10th. He was wanted for larceny and criminal possession of a stolen credit card. On June 1, while working at the Scarsdale Shell Station he took a credit card that had been left on top of one of the pumps. He used it to fill his car with $30 in gas, to buy beer in a Yonkers grocery on June 3rd. and cigars and Metro Cards in Manhattan. All told he charged $269 to the card which belonged to a Webster Road man, before he got rid of it. Police charged him with grand larceny and criminal possession of a stolen card and gave him a court date of July 11.

Snoops: The six-year-old son of a Greenacres Avenue woman found a digital voice recorder under the front passenger seat of her 2011 Mini Cooper. The recorder did not belong to the woman or either of her two sons.

Damage: While driving on Boulevard around noon on July 9th, the passenger side window of a 2004 Lexus was hit by a rock and broke. The rock came from a lawnmower that was in use on Hyatt Field. The car belongs to a woman from Tuckahoe who is tying to resolve the issue with Suburban Maintenance and Landscaping, the company that was mowing at the time.

There were several car break-ins and multiple incidents of vandalism to vehicles last week:

Two residents of Tunstall Road reported that their cars were broken into overnight on 7/12-7/13. At one home, an iPod and $5 in change were taken from the car and from the other, a Magellan Navigator, valued at $250 was missing.

Overnight on 7/8 – 7/9 the tail light of a Honda Odyssey was broken by a rock. The driver’s side mirror of a Honda parked on Greenacres Avenue was also damaged by a rock that same night.

Overnight on 7/9 – 7/10 two cars parked at a Cayuga Road home were damaged. The rear window of a 2003 Ford Explorer was broken. The damage appeared to be done by vandals who shattered it by applying pressure to the window. The rear driver’s side window of a 2009 Toyota Corolla parked in front of the house was also broken.

Also that night on Rock Creek Lane, the driver’s side window of a 1996 Saab was shattered and the passenger side window of a 2008 Honda was broken. There were dents in the car and it appeared they had been made by a BB gun. On Cayuga Road the rear windshield of a 2011 Honda CRV was shattered.

Vandalism: A driveway lantern on Oneida Road was damaged from 7/9 – 7/10. It appeared to be hit by a rock or a pellet.

Identity Theft: A Canterbury Road woman got repeated calls from Lending Tree about refinancing her mortgage. It turned out that someone had used her husband’s identification to make an online request to refinance.

Scam: A 22-year-old Carthage Road woman almost became the victim of a scam on Craig’s List. She responded to a listing for an apartment in Santa Monica and the person who answered asked for a copy of her driver’s license and the first two month’s rent of $2,900. He said he would send her the key after he received the money but refused to show her the apartment beforehand. She grew suspicious so before sending any money she called the building manager and learned that there was no rental unit with the advertised number. She was also told that only the building’s owners were authorized to rent the units.

On the night of July 9, police responded to a complaint about a woman on Carthage Road who was asking for money “to stay on welfare.” The woman told police she was lost and needed to find a way home.

Animals: Murray Hill Road residents called police on the morning of July 10th when a raccoon was trapped in one of their garbage cans. Police opened the can and the raccoon got out.

Dog found: A woman found a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel with a name tag that said “Tess” at the intersection of Walworth and Greenacres Avenue at 10 am on July 15th. She picked up the dog and drove her to the police station. A half hour later, a Walworth Avenue man called police about his dog and found Tess at the station. He was issued a summons and assessed an impoundment fee.

Dog Poop: Police intervened at 6:30 pm on July 10 to mediate a dispute about dog feces on Sheldrake Road. One man said that his neighbor allows his dog to drop feces on his property but the neighbor denied it. Police advised the feuding residents to get along.

Disputes: Police were also called to a home on Sprague Road when a woman called to say that her soon to be ex-husband was removing property from the house without authorization. However, police reviewed an email from the husband that documented what he was permitted to remove and he appeared to be in compliance with their agreement.

A missing iPhone, that belonged to a Pennsylvania woman, was traced to a Murray Hill Road address. Police accompanied the woman to the house and spoke to the resident who admitted to having the phone and said he had found it at the White Plains Bowling Alley. He returned it to the rightful owner.

Kids: A New Rochelle woman called police at 11:20 on July 13th when her three-year-old son locked himself and his infant brother in the car. The car was parked on Carman Road. Someone from the Heathcote Exxon station arrived and was able to open the car door without damaging it. The children were fine and did not need medical assistance.

 

romogonzalezBoulevard residents in Scarsdale got a rude shock when they returned home around 10 pm on Tuesday night July 3rd. The home was in the process of being painted by Butini Painting of Harrison and workers were in the house earlier in the day. However, that night, the resident came home, and thought he heard someone hiding in a third floor bedroom closet. He called police who came to the house, went to the bedroom and called through the closet door.

The intruder made his presence known and came out of the closet. He was identified as Daniel Romo-Gonzalez age 21 of Elmsford and he was searched and arrested for criminal trespass. It turns out that Romo-Gonzalez was one of the painters who had been working in the house. The police report also states that he is married and speaks only Spanish.

But this bizarrre story doesn’t end here. After Romo-Gonzales was taken to the station, police searched the house and found that the basement windows had been covered with cardboard – and they also found the defendant’s lunch box, sneakers, t-shirt and a silicone vagina-style sex toy, which appeared to contain ejaculate. A dark stain had been left on the carpet. It appeared that the painter had quite an evening before retreating to the third floor closet where he was found by the homeowner.

At 3:30 am Romo-Gonzalez was arrainged by Judge Arlene Katz who set bail at $500. His boss agreed to post bail and Gonzalez was released at 4:20 am and given a court date of July 11, 2012.

More Arrests
: A car fire in Greenacres on the night of June 28 led to the arrest of a New Rochelle man. Police responded to a report that a car was on fire at the intersection of Walworth Avenue and Fenimore Roads at 10:45 pm on June 28th. They found a 1993 Green Ford Taurus engulfed in flames and extinguished the fire. However, they also found that the car was stolen and had stolen Florida license plates. The driver, Javan Zepher, age 21 of New Rochelle was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property. The car was impounded and Zepher was released on $200 bail and given a court appearance date.

LaVerne Autry, age 54 of Yonkers was arrested for shoplifting at the CVS on Popham Road around noon on June 29th. A store employee spotted Autry putting Advil in her handbag before she went to the register to pay for a can of fruit punch. When the employee stopped her before she left the store he found 3 containers of Enfamil and fourteen boxes of Advil in Autry’s bag. She was charged, released and given a court appearance date.

Mark Daroczy, age 39 of Dobbs Ferry was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 1 am on June 30th. Police got a call about a car making a strange noise on Fountain Terrace and found Darcoczy in his Toyota Avalon stuck because one of the front tires had come off. It appeared that the man had driven off the road and damaged the car when he attempted to get it back on to Fountain Terrace. Daroczy appeared to be drunk and said that he had pulled over when he was driving from the Hudson Grille in White Plains to his home in Dobbs Ferry. He claimed he pulled over because he got a flat but didn’t know how he ended up on Fountain Terrace. He failed sobriety tests and was taken to police headquarters where he was processed and given a court appearance date of July 11. His car was towed to Ted Herman’s.

Misunderstanding: A Nelson Road woman reported that her 12 year-old son was home alone and two men were walking around the property. Police went to the house and found two men who had been hired by Tyler Technologies to do the tax reassessment of Scarsdale

Wandering Toddler: A Wynmor Road woman found a 3 year-old child wandering on Heathcote Road at 11:30 am on June 30th. Police located the child’s mother who said that the boy was attending a party at 1 Heathcote Road and left through an unlocked door. He was unharmed and returned to his mother.

On Colvin Road at 9 pm on 6/28 a woman reported that her neighbor, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was at her door. When she tried to escort him home, his wife did not answer the door. Police found the man’s wife inside – she was unaware her husband had left the house.

A SCARVAC member called police on the night of June 30th when they found a man with a gas can wandering around the Ambulance Corps building on Weaver Street. The man explained that he had run out of gas and had no money to purchase more gas. He was hoping that someone at SCARVAC could help him. His car was parked across the street at Massa and his wife and child were in the car. Police helped the man out.

A Claremont Road man reported that a man rang his bell on the morning of June 28 and claimed he was there to change some light bulbs. When he asked the man for the name of the residents he was supposed to help the man got into his car and drove off.

Unwelcome: At 6:18 pm on 6/26 police got a call from the Greenacres Security Guard to say he was having a dispute with non-residents who were using the basketball court. Police asked the players to provide i.d., and since no one could furnish identification, they left Greenacres.

Missing: A Park Road man reported that five $100 bills were missing from his wallet on June 29. The home was being repaired following a fire and numerous workers had been in the house.

A Bell Road woman reported that a gold chain valued at $1,800 and her iPhone had been taken from her home sometime on June 28th. While she was out that day her teenage children had several guests at the house but did not provide their names.

Car Trouble: A Graham Road woman woke up on the morning of June 26 to find the windshield of her 2009 Acura shattered and a dent in the hood. The car had been parked in front of her house. It was not clear what hit the car. Damage was estimated at $500.

Another car was egged – this one parked on Tompkins Road overnight from 6/25-6/26. Damage was estimated at $200.

A Lee Road woman reported that someone wrapped their Jeep in plastic on the night of June 29. The wrapping did not damage the car.

Graffiti: Black spray painted graffiti was found on the outside of Scarsdale High School on the morning of June 27. Painted on the school were the initials H.N.S (several times) and N.B. as well as “2013” with four arrows and the words “TFC Bitch Squad” next to one of the arrows.

moneyRobbery: From June 1 - July 5, a Boulevard road family home was robbed of more than $60,000 in property. Over this time period they noticed several items missing, with the most recent being a portable air conditioner in the master bedroom. The air conditioner most recently stolen was purchased to replace another air conditioner that had been stolen in the past month. The resident also reported $28,300 in cash missing from his bedroom. Other stolen items include custom suits, custom shirts, US Navy documents, uniform, and watches. The resident speculated that a former friend of his, who may have a key to his house, could be responsible for all the missing property, although he was unable to provide the police with the friend’s address or phone number.

Suspicious Activity: A white unmarked van pulled into a Mamaroneck road home on July 6th. Using the house’s intercom, the driver told the resident that he was a technician for Crystal Security Company visiting to service the alarm. After the resident advised him that he did not use Crystal Security Company, the van left the area.

Inappropriate Behavior: A foreman at a construction site on Garden Road complained that he was harassed by a young man from a neighboring home. The young man spat on the man’s company sign and made an obscene gesture toward his employees. Police spoke to the young man who denied spitting on the sign but apologized and agreed to stay away from the construction site.

Egged: A 2003 Honda Pilot was hit with eggs while parked on Montrose Road overnight on July 6th.

Burning Leaves: A Chesterfield Road resident found a burned pile of paper bags and leaves on her walkway on the morning of July 8th.

Homeless Man: A homeless man with a shopping cart of belongings was spotted near the day camp at the Scarsdale Middle School on the morning of July 5. Police asked him to leave the area and he complied. Later that morning, the same man was found lying in the road at the intersection of Mamaroneck and Cushman Road. He told police he was taking a break and did not need help.

Car Breakdown: On July 6th a car broke down on the Popham Road Bridge. The vehicle was safely moved off the bridge onto Garth Road and then towed. The Scarsdale Fire Department was notified and cleaned up the vehicles’ fluid on the roadway.

Pole Crash: On July 2nd Miriam Alvarez, a White Plains resident, crashed a car registered to Molly Maid of Greenwich into a utility pole on 21 Hutchinson Ave. The driver experienced neck pain and was transported to the White Plains E.R. for further care.

Vandalized SUV: On July 7th, a man reported that the rear window of his 2012 Acura SUV was broken while it was parked on Paddington Road. Police found a large white rock on the back seat of car, which was used to cause the damage to the window. Patrol searched the area for other criminal activity but found none.

Dirty Phone Book Harassment: On July 4, a Kent Road woman came to police to report that her name and phone number were listed on “Dirtyphonebook.com”, a site where people make sexual comments.

Four Year-Old Locked in Car: A four year-old got locked into a car at Westchester Reform Temple at 1:10 pm on July 2nd. A representative from the Heathcote Gulf Station unlocked the car quickly and the girl was unharmed.

Sim Card Stolen: On 7/3, police got a complaint from a Bronx man who said that his friend had borrowed his phone -- and when she returned it a day later, the sim card was gone. She told him she would return it but had not.

Fitness Idea Stolen: A Morris Lane woman came to police on July 3 to report that her idea had been stolen. She said she shared a fitness idea with another woman and later discovered that it is now in use. She wanted to document the incident.

Snapper Turtle Roaming the Streets: A large snapper turtle was found in the road at the intersection of Benedict and Springdale Road on the morning of July 4th. Concerned it would be run over, a woman asked police to move it and they did.


 

9stratton3Scarsdale Police Report - Foiled Burglary: A 22 year-old Burgess Road man called the police at 10 pm on 6/21 when he saw two men pulling on the back door to his house. He had just arrived home and was standing in his foyer when he heard a noise coming from the kitchen. He went into the kitchen and heard the door handle jiggle. He then saw two men in dark colored hooded sweatshirts and jeans running across his front yard toward Post Road. The door handle was found on the floor. Police found fingerprints on the glass panes but it did not appear that the house had been entered.

Troublemakers in Greenacres: The head custodian of the Greenacres School, called police on the morning of June 21 to report that the school had been damaged the previous night. He said there was evidence of possible “youth gatherings.” He found beer cans and red cups in the school courtyard and damage to a small fence near the shrubs in the courtyard. A plant was taken out of the ground and put in the garbage. He also said he believes human feces were smeared on the Huntington Road entrance to the school and found a dumpster pushed against a basement door.

That same night, a home on Putnam Road near the Greenacres School was also vandalized. At 8:30 am on 6/21, the residents noticed that feces had been smeared all over one of their cars. In addition, some of the outdoor lights were removed from the ground and thrown across the lawn. Gardening bags were taken from their property and tossed across the street. Garden decorations, shaped like turtles, were also missing.

Egged: A resident of Heathcote Road reported that her car had been egged sometime between 6/15 and 6/17 while it was parked on Heathcote Road.

Gas Main Break: Christopher Scampone, a contractor working on Wakefield Road, struck a gas line at 11:30 am on 6/19. He was trying to remove a water pipe but accidentally hit the gas main. Con Edison had to get into eight homes on Wakefield and Carthage Roads to turn off the gas until the line could be repaired. The Fire Department had to break in to several homes where the residents were not home: In one home they broke a screen, in another they entered another through an unlocked second floor window and got into a third home via an unlocked sliding door.

Frying Pan Fire: At 9:25 am on June 21, a Highland Way woman called to report a fire in her frypanfirekitchen. She had left a pan in the oven that caused a grease fire. She removed the burning pan from the oven, dropped it on the kitchen floor and put out the flames with a fire extinguisher. When the Fire Department arrived, there was smoke coming out of the front and side doors of the house. She and her three sons were taken to White Plains Hospital as a precaution for smoke inhalation.

Transformer Fire: On June 22, a caller reported that a transformer was on fire as a result of lightning on Stratton Road. A transformer in front of the caller’s house had exploded and caused a small fire on the lawn. Con Edison and the Fire Department responded and put out the fire and made repairs. Pot Pilferer: At 6 pm on June 22, a caller from Carthage Road reported that a woman had driven by and stolen his neighbor’s planters. The woman, later identified as Helen Antiaris, parked, got out of her car and picked up several flowerpots from the Carthage Road home. The resident’s neighbor, Jay Canell, said that he asked Antiaris what she was doing and in a heavy foreign accent she said, “These garbage.” Canell said, “I don’t think so. You should ask the homeowner before taking them.” Antiaris got in her car and drove off with the pots. Antiaris returned later and told the police that she thought the pots were garbage and that it was okay to take them. She agreed to return the pots and stay away from the property.

Arrest: On 6/18/12, Joel Springer, age 44 of White Plains surrendered himself to the Scarsdale Police in response to an outstanding warrant for speeding and driving without a license in 2008. He was processed and released on $100 bail.

Shrubs: On 6/19, a Larch Lane man complained that his neighbor had cut down some shrubs on his property, Police told the man to inquire about the location of his property line at Village but said that this was a civil matter.

Missing Boy: At 3 am on 6/22, concerned Garden Road parents called police to say that their son went to the city earlier that evening and did not come back. When police arrived at 3:29 am, the boy was located and the parents went to pick him up.

Greenburgh Police Report:

15 Year-Old Driver: Police pulled over a van on Central Avenue at 2:25 am on 6/21 and found that the driver was a 15-year old unlicensed driver. He explained that he had taken over the wheel from Eddy Paiz of Mt. Vernon because Paiz was “swerving all over the Bronx River Parkway.” Paiz admitted to downing eight beers at the Cancun Restaurant and appeared to be drunk. The 15 year-old thought it would be safer if he drove, even though he didn’t have a license. Paiz was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child and for permitting an unlicensed drive to use the car. The van was impounded and the other children in the car were picked up by their parents at police headquarters.

Disputes: The battle between feuding neighbors continued on Elizabeth Street this week when Audrey Pierot called police at 7:30 am on 6/18 to report that her neighbor Micha Marom drove toward her in a bobcat and stopped suddenly in front of her, slamming the metal bucket on the ground. She told police she feared for her safety. Police found Marom driving the bobcat around his property, but he was uncooperative and refused to speak to the police. At 9 am, Pierot reported that Marom had placed several barriers in the roadway, in violation of Village Code.

On 6/17, Marom called police to say that he found damage to his home – the damage was done to some styrofoam that is placed underneath the stucco exterior.

In another construction related incident, a manager from Toll Brothers Construction reported that someone had padlocked the entrance gate to a construction site at 703 Ardsley Road sometime between June 16 and June 18. The man reported that some of the neighbors are upset about the project and that this is the second time the gate was locked.

Two sisters, ages 64 and 61 got into a physical fight about the care of their mother on Thomas Street in Scarsdale on Monday afternoon 6/18. They both ended up on the ground and police broke up the fight when they arrived. Due to anxiety, one of the women was taken to the hospital. Police were unable to determine who was the initial aggressor.

A dissatisfied patient slapped a dentist in the face at Guerrino Dentistry on Central Avenue on the morning of 6/21. Cuesta Figueroa, age 20 of White Plains yelled at the dentist, said he had “ruined her teeth” and slapped the dentist in the face.

On Verne Place in Hartsdale, a resident reported that his car was entered overnight on 6/18 – 6/19. Missing were $20 in change and two softball bats, each valued at $200.00.

A sliding glass door at Central Park Dance on Central Avenue was found shattered on the morning of June 22nd. Nothing else was amiss.
